Closing Gala LG Fashion Week: Dare To Wear Love
Last Friday, the Heritage Court at Exhibition Place was transformed into a giant runway for the Dare to Wear Love. This event marks the end of LG Fashion Week and showcases the talents of Canada’s top designers, musicians and dancers. The Hip and Urban Girl’s Guide was there to support the fashion industry as well as the Stephen Lewis Foundation - a grass roots organization fighting the HIV AIDS pandemic in Sub Saharan Africa.
These photos bear witness to the awesome energy of the evening, and give a hint of the power of this event to make a real difference in the lives of tens of thousands of people affected and infected with the HIV/AIDS virus in Africa.
